Topknot Pigeon

Lopholaimus antarcticus

A large grey bird, the Topknot Pigeon (also known as the Flock Pigeon) features a distinctive red outcrop on its head, and a white streak across its tail. Normally between 40.5 and 46 cm in length; Topknot Pigeons can be found along the east coast from Cape York to Ulladulla. The Topknot Pigeon is partial to a variety of rainforest fruits.
