Self-Drive Daintree Birdwatching Package

For 2013 Red Mill House offers the following 4 Night Package for birders:

4 nights deluxe accommodation
4 full breakfasts with home-made yoghurt, breads and jams plus cereal, juice, local fruits and cooked breakfast
1 full day of guided birdwatching with local, experienced guide and birder Carol Iles. This day is spent exploring the mid-level forest areas around Julatten and the drier country west of the Great Dividing Range.
2 lunches with home-made goodies and morning teas.
1 early morning 2 hour birdwatching river cruise on the Daintree River.
Two hours of guided birdwatching, early morning or late afternoon in the various habitats of the Daintree Valley
A self-guided day in the Daintree Rainforest, with detailed maps and sightings information and including entry to the Daintree Discovery Centre, a world class, multiple award winning Rainforest interpretive facility.

Rates

3 nights deluxe accommodation with full breakfast included
1 full day of personalised guided birdwatching with local guide Doug Herrington in comfortable 4WD vehicle, travelling from the coastal lowlands to upland Mt Lewis (or other location if preferred), lunch included.
1 early morning 2 hour Daintree River birdwatching cruise.
1 two hour guided Daintree Valley walk.

Rates

Comprehensive self-drive guide with maps and information about local habitats, flora and fauna and an introduction to the Daintree National Park Boardwalks.
Entry to the renowned Daintree Discovery Centre; rainforest interpretative facility with canopy tower, aerial walkway, 48 page interpretive guide and modern, comprehensive display centre. Free return visit for 7 days.
Morning (or afternoon) tea with home-made goodies.
